Maria woke in what seemed like a dazed trance. The cobwebs of sleep still filtered through her head, but as she started to wake, the world around her became clearer.
The first thing Maria saw was the cave ceiling; it’s barren rock reflecting the dawn light from the entrance. With a single look around, she realized that she was asleep on a small cot, the deerskin draped over her bosom. The cave was bare, save for a smoldering pile of wood where a fire once burned the night before.

Hello! And welcome to my DA page!  My real name is Megan but I'm hoping to have a persona named Meg. She will be an orange tabbey with emerald eyes (a darker pelt then Firestar's). Though she may look like a cat, she can also take the form of other creatures because she's actually an animagus/witch. So, long story short, she represents a mixture of many of the things I like. Yes, obviously, I am a big Tim Burton fan. But I'm also into other things, such as Erin Hunter's Warrior series and many other random things.
